Rafael Kappaz

Rafael Kappaz is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Markets Brazil at Santander Brasil since May 2024. Previously, Rafael held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Santander Asset Management Brasil from March 2023 to May 2024. With a robust background in global trade solutions and fixed income, Rafael has excelled in various roles at Santander Brasil, including Managing Director for multiple divisions focusing on sales, advisory, and structuring of financial derivatives and client relations with wholesale corporate and institutional clients. Earlier career experiences include roles at Banco Santander, where Rafael was involved in structuring and sales of derivatives and project finance. Rafael holds a Master's degree in Finance from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Escola de Engenharia Mauá.
