Santiago Gil

Santiago Gil currently serves as the Head of Venture Capital - Climate Tech at Santander Asset Management since July 2022. Prior to this role, Santiago held various positions at Enagás from September 2014 to July 2022, including Head of Corporate Venture Capital, where responsibilities involved managing financial and operational aspects of new ventures, investing in energy startups, and overseeing portfolio management. Santiago co-founded Gas2Move, one of Enagás's portfolio startups, in July 2017. Previous experience includes roles as Management Controller at Jazztel, Financial Controller at Vodafone, and TMT Strategy and Operation Consultant at Deloitte, where projects focused on telecommunications infrastructure and regulatory advice. Santiago holds an Executive Master in Finance from IE Business School and an Advanced Venture Capital Program certification from the same institution.
