Bala Ramakoti is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in model risk management and anti-financial crime (AFC). Currently serving as the Director of Model Risk Management at Santander Bank, N.A. since December 2024, Bala previously held the position of Vice President, AFC at Deutsche Bank from March 2024 to December 2024. With a long tenure at Matrix IFS from May 2008 to March 2024 as Director of Professional Services, Bala managed projects for clients including Nomura, TD Bank, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Wells Fargo, Penson Financials, and Dresdner, focusing on AML transaction monitoring and enterprise risk assessment. Bala holds an MBA in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Madras.
