Walter Donat

Walter Donat is a Board Member at Santander Consumer Bank. Walter has over 20 years of experience in the banking and finance industry.

Walter started their career at Citibank in 1992 as a Resident Vice President. Walter then moved to ING Barings in 1997 as an Assistant Vice President. In 1999, they joined ABN AMRO Bank as a SVP Centre of Expertise.

At ABN AMRO, they were responsible for the finance function of Brazil and was a member of the Controller´s Committee. Walter also managed the Centre of Expertise which included the Accounting policies and Procedures, Management information Policies and procedures, Basel II, Sox and Tax departments.

In 2002, they became the CFO of Aymoré Financiamentos, ABN AMRO Group's Consumer Finance Company in Brazil. Walter was responsible for all regulatory and management information.

Walter left ABN AMRO in 2007 and joined Santander Consumer Bank as a Board Member.
