Massimo Lugas

Massimo Lugas, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Team/Squad Lead at Santander Digital Services since August 2020, specializing in Global Fixed Income, eTrading Solutions, and Trading Architecture. With a strong background in Agile methodologies, Massimo has also held roles as a Team Lead and Senior Agile Business & Software Analyst within the GLOBAL Fixed Income Squad. Prior to Santander, Massimo worked as a Senior Expert Consultant for Banco Santander and Optimissa, focusing on Fixed Income Trading Platform support and project management. Massimo's experience extends to various academic and research roles, including a PhD in Theoretical and Numerical Simulation of Condensed Matter from SISSA, along with practical training in Monte Carlo simulations. Additional mentoring and advisory roles include active participation with NODI and the ITACA Podcast.
