Andres Diez

Andres Diez has a diverse work experience. Andres started their career at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in 2001 as an Associate, where they worked until 2005. Andres then joined Norske Skog in 2006 as a Financial Controller. In 2007, they joined Santander Consumer Bank - Nordics as a Nordic Risk Controller and gradually progressed to roles such as Nordic Deputy CRO - Head of Risk Control, Nordic Deputy CRO & Auto Credit Risk Director, and Nordic Deputy CRO & Credit Risk Director. Andres is currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) - Nordics since 2017. In this role, they are responsible for leading the risk management and control area of Santander Consumer Bank in the Nordic region, including all risk types, and is a member of SCB Nordics Executive Committee and Senior Management Teams.

Andres Diez completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad de Valladolid in 2004. Andres also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the Institute of Technology, Sligo between 1999 and 2001. In addition, Andres obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Executive MBA - EMBA Global. Andres attended the BI Norwegian Business School, IE Business School, Nanyang Technological University Singapore, and the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, all between 2014 and 2015.
