Pontus Hamlin has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Pontus began their career as a Front Line Agent at Skandia Norden from 2008 to 2010. Later, they worked as a Photographer at Festivalphoto.net from 2011 to 2013. At GE Capital, they served as a Supervisor of Outbound Sales and Solution Team, then as a Service Desk Team Leader in IT Norway. Pontus also held the role of Nordic Asset Manager, responsible for asset management in IT. After joining Santander Consumer Bank, they worked as the Nordic Asset Manager for Nordic IT, overseeing the transition of software, server, and hardware assets after a merger. Pontus then became the Nordic Manager of Organization Development & Governance, designing the organizational blueprints and internal governance of the bank. Currently, Hamlin is working at Santander Consumer Bank as the Coordination and Reputational Risk Lead in Compliance & Conduct.
Pontus Hamlin obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Quantic School of Business and Technology in 2020. Pontus also holds a Master of Education degree in Social Science from Linköping University, which they earned from 2005 to 2010. In 2004, Pontus obtained a student examen from Västerviks Gymnasium. In terms of additional certifications, Pontus has completed various courses and programs in areas such as compliance, ethics of artificial intelligence, responsible AI, employment law, and leadership.
