Shaun Deanesh

Shaun Deanesh, FRM, currently serves as Fund Manager at Santander Nordics, overseeing fixed income portfolios across Nordic countries and employing derivatives for various financial strategies. Previously, Shaun held multiple roles at PRA Group, including Project Manager and Quantitative Investment Analyst, where contributions included managing a team and analyzing investment segments. Shaun's academic experience includes serving as an Adjunct Professor at Tallinn University of Technology, teaching risk management. Prior entrepreneurial ventures led to the founding of companies focused on financial inclusion and energy efficiency. Additional experience encompasses an Associate role at RBC, with a focus on portfolio valuation and hedging, and trading at Shaun Asset Management Pte Ltd. Shaun holds an MBA from Queen Mary University of London, is a PhD Candidate in Machine Learning in Finance at the University of Oslo, and has a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from ACCA.
