Ângelo Sarmento

Ângelo Sarmento is a seasoned IT professional currently serving as Technical Architecture Manager at Santander Portugal since September 2021, where responsibilities include defining technical solutions and aligning project objectives with client expectations. Previously, as Digital Channels' IT Manager, Ângelo oversaw technical teams of over 50 members, ensuring the alignment of technological strategies with organizational goals. Ângelo's extensive experience began at PrimeIT, focusing on the banking sector for Santander's digital business channels and also contributing to projects in telecommunications and postal services. Prior roles include Programmer Analyst positions at SoftINSA, where Ângelo engaged in functional analysis and implementation for clients in the banking industry. Ângelo holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and has international educational experience from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
