Henrique Pinto do Amaral

Henrique Pinto do Amaral serves as the Chief Risk Officer at Santander Totta Seguros since January 2024, leading the risk key function, chairing the Risk Committee, and participating in both the Compliance and Internal Control Committees. With extensive experience at Banco Santander Totta since August 1996, Henrique has held various leadership positions including Director and Head of Market, Capital, Model and Real Estate Risks Division, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing multiple risk management areas and serving on various committees. Previous roles also include Director of Risk Planning, Policies and Governance, and leadership in Wholesale Credit Risk Control and Analysis. Henrique holds degrees from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, ESADE - Banco Santander, and Loughborough University, with additional qualifications in English from the British Council.
