Joana Barreto Valeriano

Joana Barreto Valeriano possesses extensive experience in communication and digital marketing, currently serving in a communication role focused on social media at Santander Portugal since October 2020. Previously, Joana held the position of Head of Digital Communication at NextPower Storysellers from January 2011 to October 2020, where responsibilities included managing communication strategies, content production, and crisis communication for a leading Portuguese bank. Joana has also contributed to the promotion of healthy eating among school-age children as part of the “Five a Day Program” at MARL, S.A., and has experience in governmental marketing and communication as well as specialized training in digital marketing from Google. Joana's academic background includes a degree in Business Communication from Instituto Superior de Comunicação Empresarial, along with additional credentials in radio animation and training formation.
