Mirene Lemos

Mirene Lemos has extensive experience in API governance and enterprise architecture within the banking sector, currently serving in a governance role for API design at Santander since June 2022. Prior to this, Mirene held several key positions at Santander Portugal, including Head of API & Microservices Architecture Governance and Head of Corebanking Enterprise Architecture and Performance, where responsibilities included governance design and functional architecture gap analysis. Mirene also led the migration and merging of banking systems into a unified platform and began a career as a Business Analyst and Programmer specializing in COBOL and related technologies. Additionally, Mirene worked as Head of Software Solutions Architecture at ISBAN, focusing on quality assurance and technical solutions. Educational background includes a degree in Applied Mathematics from the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa.
