Leonardo Castro Ruiz

Leonardo Castro Ruiz is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in wealth management and corporate banking. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Branch Manager at Santander Private Banking International since January 2021, Leonardo previously held similar roles at SANTANDER PRIVATE BANKING and leads the International Private Banking operations in San Diego. Having a solid foundation in corporate and investment banking from Banco Santander Mexico, where Leonardo was Managing Director for the Industrial Sector, as well as experience in middle market banking and sales management from prior positions, including at Bancomer and Procter & Gamble, Leonardo has cultivated a robust skill set tailored for managing high-value clients, particularly in Mexico. Leonardo holds a Master's in Business Administration from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and a degree in Accounting from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
