Laura Blake

Laura Blake is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in data privacy and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel for Data Privacy at Santander UK since May 2022, Laura previously held the role of Senior Legal Counsel at EUROCLEAR UK & IRELAND LIMITED, providing regulatory advice on various financial regulations and commercial contracts from August 2017 to June 2022. Prior to that, Laura worked at RBS as Managing Legal Counsel from 2012 to June 2017, supporting multiple business sectors including energy and infrastructure. Laura’s career began as an Associate at Norton Rose Fulbright, where a diverse range of legal practices were covered, including project finance and general banking, alongside valuable experience gained through secondment to Société Generale. Laura hold degrees from King's College London and Uppsala University.
