Marc Hauert

Marc Hauert is a seasoned financial services executive with extensive experience in strategic leadership and business development. Currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer at Santander UK since September 2021, Marc previously held various senior roles at Banco Santander, including Executive Vice-President and Deputy Director of Group Strategy, and Director of Finance and Business Development for Santander Cards, where responsibilities included performance analysis and growth opportunity assessments across multiple markets. Prior to Santander, Marc was Head of Credit Cards Portfolio Management at Santander UK and served as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where expertise in business and strategy was developed across various industries. Marc Hauert holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from the University of Oxford and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Physics from EPFL.
