Nikolaos Spiliopoulos

Nikolaos Spiliopoulos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in audit and risk management. Currently serving as a Senior Audit Manager for Credit and Model Risk at Santander UK since June 2022, Nikolaos has held various positions, including Cost Management Specialist at CoCo Global Ltd and Senior Internal Audit Manager at HSBC. Prior to these roles, Nikolaos worked as an Internal Audit Manager for Santander UK and as part of the Operational Risk Management team at ING Greece, where responsibilities included managing operational risks and facilitating Risk and Control Self Assessments. Earlier in the career, Nikolaos gained experience as an Internal Audit Manager at Deloitte and as a Loan Advisor at the National Bank of Greece, complemented by an academic background with an MSc in Corporate Risk Management from The University of Salford and a BSc in Banking and Finance from the University of Piraeus.
