Laura Nelson

Laura Nelson is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive leader with extensive experience in the technology and startup sectors. As the Managing Director and Co-Founder of HF.Capital since January 2019, Laura has played a pivotal role in developing a stock trading platform akin to Stripe. Additionally, Laura co-founded Hackers/Founders in March 2008, fostering one of the largest global communities of technology founders, and has generated numerous advisory services from interactions with over 35,000 entrepreneurs annually. Laura is also a member of Santander X 100 and the SME Finance Forum, contributing to initiatives aimed at enhancing entrepreneurship and access to finance for small and medium businesses. With previous experience at Microsoft, where Laura contributed to multiple events and initiatives, Laura continues to influence the startup ecosystem as a board member of Global EIR.
