Florence Lot

Florence Lot has extensive experience in public health, particularly in the areas of HIV, sexually transmitted infections, and hepatitis B and C. Currently serving as the head of the HIV-IST-Hepatitis unit at Santé publique France since January 2014, Florence Lot previously held the position of deputy head in the same sector at the INSTITUT DE VEILLE SANITAIRE from 2008 to 2013, where significant contributions included the coordination of national studies and response efforts during health crises. Florence Lot's earlier role as an epidemiologist at the Institut de veille sanitaire from 1993 to 2007 involved key initiatives such as national surveillance of HIV epidemics and studies related to the healthcare experiences of sub-Saharan individuals in Île-de-France. Florence Lot holds a degree in public health and social medicine from Faculté Broussais - Hotel Dieu, completed between 1979 and 1990.
