William Hooks is currently a financial analyst at Santé. William previously worked as an intern at Santé Ventures and Engie.

At Santé Ventures, William led a strategic research project examining the link between the unicorn phenomenon and secondary markets. William presented the results of their research to the partnership, which resulted in consideration from Santé's team to explore secondary trades not only as a potential exit route, but also as a trading strategy. William leveraged several databases and research reports in order to synthesize internal and external observations.

At Engie, William researched the viability of carbon neutral technologies, analyzed market trends for renewable energy, and identified potential sites for energy generation. William collected and presented data regarding developments in multiple economic sectors including but not limited to: renewable opportunities for higher education campuses, renewable trends in data centers, and renewable energy use in airports.

William Hooks has a Master of Science from Stanford University in Earth Systems, a Bachelor’s Degree in Earth Systems (Biosphere) from Stanford University, and a certification from the Texas Real Estate Commission in Real Estate Salesperson. William also has a Minor in Elementary Particle Physics from Stanford University. William Hooks attended High School at St. Stephen's Episcopal School where they concentrated in the Sciences. During college, they participated in Stanford's Bing Overseas Studies Program and spent a semester abroad in Australia at The University of Queensland.
