Robert Holmes

Robert Holmes has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Robert began their career as a Product Manager at Harman International in 1987. Robert then moved on to JBL Professional, where they held the role of Director of Manufacturing Operations for 14 years. During their time at JBL Professional, they successfully managed various projects, including a corporate consolidation project that resulted in annual savings of $7 million and the development of a new manufacturing factory.

In 2008, they joined Precision Dynamics Corporation as Vice President, overseeing Marketing, Program Management, Product Development, Quality, and Regulatory Management. Robert played a pivotal role in integrating three competitive companies and their facilities, contributing to the company's success.

Robert then worked at Samsung Electronics as a Senior Consultant, where they supported the startup of a research and test facility. Robert identified and implemented processes to improve product design and evaluation, collaborating with the engineering team for successful outcomes.

In 2015, they joined Elytone Electronics Co., Ltd., as Director of the Medical Division. Robert spearheaded the establishment of a new business unit focused on the medical industry, contributing to global sales, product development, and operational strategies.

Most recently, Robert served as the Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Santec North America at Santec Corporation. In this role, they led two manufacturing locations, overseeing the production of test equipment for fiberoptic cables and components. Their leadership resulted in the profitability of the California operation and eventually led to its purchase by Santec.

Robert Holmes has a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Northridge, which they earned from 1989 to 1991. Robert also obtained an Associate of Arts degree from Los Angeles Valley College from 1987 to 1989. Furthermore, they have a Professional Certificate in Total Quality Management from San Diego State University, which they completed in 1996. In 2009, Robert completed their MBA from the University of Phoenix with a focus on Business. Robert possesses an additional certification as an ISO9001 Lead Auditor from the British Standards Institution (BSI).
