Phillip Obie II

Phillip Obie II, PMP, has over 19 years of experience in various managerial and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Manager of Coal Combustion Products and Ash Pond Closure and responsible for Fuels Strategy and Supply at Santee Cooper since July 2004, Phillip also holds the position of Councilman for District 3 within the Berkeley County (SC) Government since July 2019. In addition, Phillip is a member of the Rail Energy Transportation Advisory Committee at the US Surface Transportation Board since September 2018 and serves as the District Chairman for the Swamp Fox at the Boy Scouts of America, Coastal Carolina Council since November 2018. Furthermore, Phillip has been the Lead Pyro Technician at Zambelli Fireworks since July 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Project Management, an MBA in Business, and a BS in Computer Science, all obtained from The Citadel.
