Karen Landram Brown

Karen Landram Brown is an experienced educator and social worker with a diverse background in special education and instructional roles. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Santee School District and a Teacher at Literacy First since March 2022, Karen has also held a teaching position with AKA Headstart since August 2019. Previously, Karen worked as a Social Worker at Southern Indian Health Council, Inc., and as an Education Coordinator at Advanced International Academy, where responsibilities included providing home-stays for international ESL students in the San Diego area. Early career experience includes a role as a Bus Driver/Teacher at First Transit. Karen earned a Master of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University-Portland.
