Kevin Fairchild

Kevin Fairchild has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Kevin currently works as the Director of Assessment and Learning Support at the Santee School District. Prior to this, they served as the Instructional Design and Technology Coordinator at the Saddleback Valley Unified School District from 2016 to 2023. From 2012 to 2016, Kevin worked as a Teacher on Special Assignment for 21st-Century Instruction at the San Dieguito Union High School District, providing professional development to teachers and incorporating 21st-century skills in the curriculum. Kevin started their teaching career at La Costa Canyon High School in 1996, where they taught Physics and Earth Science, and also served as the Department Chair and District Science Coordinator. Kevin also briefly worked as a VPSS Instructor at the San Diego County Office of Education from 2010 to 2012.

Kevin Fairchild's education history starts with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from Harvey Mudd College, which they obtained from 1986 to 1990. Kevin then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Education from National University, completing their studies from 1994 to 1996. In 2015, Kevin became a Professional Learning Leader after completing the program offered by the Leading Edge Coalition. Lastly, in 2016, they acquired a California Administrative Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
