Kristin Baranski

Kristin Baranski, Ed.D, has served as the Superintendent of Santee School District since March 1998, with extensive leadership experience in curriculum, assessment, and educational services. Prior roles include Principal for K-8 schools, where Kristin implemented instructional practices aligned with new State standards, and Vice Principal and Curriculum Coordinator across multiple campuses. Kristin has also contributed to the higher education field as a University Supervisor in Educational Leadership at the University of San Diego from 2012 to 2016. An accomplished educator, Kristin began their career as an English Teacher in Schaumburg School District 54. Kristin holds an Ed.D in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University and has two additional degrees in Educational Leadership and Administration, and Elementary Education from National Louis University and Southern Illinois University, respectively.
