Petr Toman

Petr Toman, Ph.D., is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as an International Medical Scientific Liaison at Santen since February 2021, Toman previously held the position of Medical Scientific Liaison in oncology at Roche from August 2017 to February 2021. Toman's expertise also includes a role as an R&D consultant for an innovative start-up, handling dietary supplements, and project management. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at MEDICEM from January 2013 to May 2016 as Project Manager and Head of Ophthalmologic Development, overseeing R&D projects and clinical trials. Additionally, Toman worked as a locum pharmacist, providing NHS services for major UK pharmacy chains. Toman earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Nanotechnology and drug delivery from the University of Portsmouth and a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno, CZ.
