Takahiro Uesugi

Takahiro Uesugi has over 20 years of work experience, with their most recent position being the Global Head of Digital & IT Value Stream at Santen since October 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles within Santen, including Head of Value Chain Transformation, RD and Safety Vigilance Team Manager, and Global R&D and QC Systems Team Manager. Before joining Santen, Takahiro worked at Hewlett-Packard as a Project Manager for nine years, and at Compaq Computer as a Project Leader/Project Manager and Project Member. Takahiro'sexperience spans project management, information systems implementation, and business process reengineering.

Takahiro Uesugi graduated from Doshisha University with a Bachelor of System Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1999. Takahiro then pursued further education at Doshisha University and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2001. In 2011, they also obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
