Ana de Vera

Ana de Vera is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Head of Development and CMO-Deputy at Santhera Pharmaceuticals since April 2022. Prior to this role, Ana held several key positions at Novartis from 2005 to 2022, including Head of Safety Due Diligence and Senior Global Program Clinical Head, leading various drug development projects in Immunology and overseeing safety within the CardioRenalMetabolic Disease Unit. With a foundation in neurology, including experience as a neurologist at Universitätsspital Basel, Ana de Vera possesses extensive expertise in clinical trials and regulatory processes across multiple disease areas, supported by medical degrees from Universidad de Oviedo and the University of Basel.
