Aaron Whitelaw

Aaron Whitelaw is a skilled professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Regional Manager for Northern Australia & Timor-Leste at Santos Ltd since May 2020. In this role, Aaron is responsible for meeting business goals in the region while reporting to the Vice President - Upstream. Previous positions at Santos include Production Manager, Operations Superintendent for the Ningaloo Vision FPSO, and Transition Manager, where Aaron successfully integrated ConocoPhillips personnel and processes. Prior to joining Santos, Aaron worked at ConocoPhillips from 2009 to May 2020 in various capacities, including Asset Manager and Joint Venture Manager, focusing on maximizing asset returns and managing stakeholder relationships. Aaron's early career included engineering roles at Shell and DNV in the oil and gas sector. Aaron holds multiple degrees from Curtin University, including an MBA, a Master of Petroleum Technology, and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering.
