Jason Young

Jason Young possesses extensive experience in the drilling and completions sector, currently serving as Offshore Drilling and Completions Manager at Santos Ltd since November 2018. Prior roles include Drilling and Completions Manager and Drilling Engineering Manager at Quadrant Energy from June 2015 to November 2018, and Drilling Engineering Manager and Drilling Superintendent at Apache Corporation from September 2012 to June 2015, with notable contributions to Australia's 2012/2013 HPHT campaign. Jason has also worked at Woodside Energy from March 2009 to September 2012 in various lead drilling engineering roles, where significant achievements include planning and executing the first deepwater well drilling offshore South Korea. Jason's career began in drilling engineering at Maersk Oil and Santos between 2001 and 2009. Jason holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with First Class Honours from The University of Queensland, completed in 2000.
