Katie Gilbar

Katie Gilbar has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Team Leader of Production Engineering at Santos Ltd since February 2014, where responsibilities have included providing process safety operational support, facilitating workshops, and leading incident investigations. Previous roles at Santos encompass positions as Production Engineer and Process Safety Engineer, with contributions to MHF Safety Case submissions and audits. Earlier experience includes providing process engineering support for the Moomba Gas Plant and managing project budgets as a Graduate Facilities Engineer. Katie's background also features a summer vacation program at Santos and a role at McDonald's, contributing to customer service and health and safety initiatives. Katie holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from The University of Queensland.
