Lachlan MacArthur possesses extensive experience in environmental management, having served in various roles at Santos Ltd since November 2018, including Environment Lead for the DPD Project, Environmental Supervisor, and Senior Advisor for Oil Spill Response. Prior experience includes coordinating oil spill preparedness and environmental approvals at Quadrant Energy, along with previous roles at Jacobs as a Senior Environmental Consultant focusing on environmental impact assessments and habitat monitoring. Earlier career stages involved work as a Senior Marine Ecologist at Hydrobiology WA Pty Ltd and as a Technical Officer with the Department of Fisheries Western Australia, specializing in fish biology and stock assessment. Lachlan's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Management from Edith Cowan University and an Honours degree in Fish Ecology from Murdoch University, along with a background in Marine Biology from The University of Western Australia.
