Marcelino Rivera

Marcelino Rivera is a seasoned electrical engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Santos Ltd since July 2022, Marcelino delivers reliability engineering and technical authority functions for energy assets in power generation, high voltage distribution, and process modifications. Previously, Marcelino held the position of Principal Electrical Engineer at CMOC-Northparkes Mines from October 2014 to July 2022, where responsibilities included developing and executing electrical engineering strategies to ensure reliable energy supply, while leading a team and managing stakeholder relationships. Additional experience includes tenure as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Rio Tinto - NorthParkes Mines and as a Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer at OneSteel. Marcelino is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Power Engineering at the University of Wollongong, building on a solid educational foundation that includes a Graduate Diploma in Industrial Automation and a Diploma in Management.
