Simon Cobb is currently the GM Legal Eastern Australia & PNG at Santos, a position held since 2024. Previously, they served in various roles at Peabody Energy from 2018 to 2021, including Director of Projects and Services and Corporate Counsel, managing significant legal and procurement activities for the company’s Australian operations. Earlier in their career, Simon worked at Allens from 2006 to 2010, progressing from Graduate Lawyer to Senior Associate in energy and resources law. They earned a Juris Doctor from The University of Queensland (2003-2005) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Portsmouth (1993-1996).
