Sophie Kass

Sophie Kass has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, having held various engineering and operations roles at Santos Ltd since March 2014, including Operations Superintendent at Port Bonython and Area Team Leader for Cross Border Operations. With a strong focus on production optimization, Sophie has managed well performance for over 400 wells in various assets, implementing strategies for downhole interventions, compression projects, and surface engineering improvements. Prior to Santos, Sophie worked at Globe Medical from November 2005 to March 2015 as an Accounts Manager and Medical Receptionist, overseeing financial accounts and inventory management. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Petroleum from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Economics from the same institution, with additional exchange studies at Universidad de Chile and Lund University.
