Gerald Yu

Gerald Yu has a diverse work experience in the heavy machinery industry. Gerald started their career in 2013 as an Electrical Engineer at SANY America, where they were responsible for resolving electrical-related issues and conducting market research. Gerald then moved on to become a Product Development Engineer, assisting the Engineering Director in managing the R&D department and creating prototype management processes. In 2021, Gerald joined SANY Heavy Machinery - Drill Rig Southeast Company as the VP of Sales, a position they held until 2022. Currently, they are the Director of Drill Rig Sales at SANY America.

Gerald Yu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Changchun University of Science and Technology from 2004 to 2008. Gerald later pursued a Master's degree in the same field at Western Michigan University from 2010 to 2012. In 2019, Gerald attended the Georgia Institute of Technology to obtain a PMP Certificate in Project Management. Gerald also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2019.
