David Penake

David Penake is the current CEO at Saol Therapeutics. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Commercial Operations at corcept therapeutics from February 2015 to April 2016. From July 2012 to February 2015, they served as the Director of Managed Care, cmc and customer operations at corcept therapeutics. From July 2010 to July 2012, David was the Associate Director and Head of Program Strategy and Management at genentech. From January 2008 to June 2010, they were the Group Manager of Strategic Pricing and Contracting at genentech. From July 2006 to December 2007, David was a part of the Genentech Operations Rotational Development Program. From January 2005 to December 2005, David completed a Master's Thesis Internship at the broad institute. David has also taught as a Teaching Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from January 2005 to May 2005. Additionally, David has experience in radio broadcasting, having co-hosted a show on alternativeenergy.com from May 2008 to May 2009. David is also a graduate of the Institute of MIT, having studied from June 2004 to May 2006. Lastly, they have Guest Lectured on Semiconductor Factory Investment Decisions at Northeastern University in January 2004.

David Penake has a master of science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a master of business administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and a bachelor of science from Northwestern University.
