Andreas Erwig

Andreas Erwig is a cryptography researcher with a focus on the design of secure cryptographic primitives for distributed environments. They are currently a Product Security Expert at SAP and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Technische Universität Darmstadt, while also working as a Cryptography Researcher at brainbot. Andreas earned a Doctor's Degree in Applied Cryptography from Technische Universität Darmstadt and previously completed a Master's degree in IT-Security and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science. Their research interests include the security of cryptographic wallets, advanced digital signature schemes, and mechanisms for MEV protection in blockchain networks through threshold cryptography.
