Andy Burns

Andy Burns is a seasoned professional in security management and threat detection, with experience spanning various roles across multiple organizations. At C.H. Robinson, Andy led a global team as Security Operations Manager, enhancing threat detection and incident response programs. Currently serving as Manager of Threat Detection Engineering at SAP, Andy previously held the position of Threat Detection Program Manager, where responsibilities included implementing a “Detection As Code” operating model and optimizing detection processes. Andy’s tenure at Thomson Reuters involved leading infrastructure security projects, managing enterprise vulnerability assessment teams, and conducting forensic investigations. Andy holds a BA in Computer Science from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University.
