Barbara Lackenbauer currently serves as the Regional HR Merger & Acquisitions Lead at SAP since January 2023. Prior to this role, Barbara was the Chief People Officer at Emarsys from April 2011 to December 2022, where significant contributions included transforming the HR team into a strategic department and overseeing global HR initiatives. Additional roles at Emarsys included (Senior) VP Human Resources, where global HR strategy was established, and HR Director DACH, responsible for HR measures in multiple locations. Barbara began her HR career as HR Manager at Emarsys in Vienna, laying the groundwork for the HR function. Earlier experience includes a position as Consultant for Human Resources Development at WIFI Wien. Barbara holds a Master's degree in International Business Administration from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
