Daniel Bernau

Daniel Bernau has over 15 years of experience in information security and product security, primarily at SAP from August 2008 to December 2023, where Daniel served as the Product Security Manager (Co-Lead) for the SAP Signavio Product Security Team. Daniel held various roles including Information Security Officer, Security Architect, and Security and Privacy Architect, contributing to cloud security, privacy architecture, and post-merger integrations. Prior experience includes consulting on supply chain solutions in the automotive sector and a foundational apprenticeship at Siemens, specializing in systems integration and network administration. Daniel obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer and Information Systems Security from the University of Stuttgart and participated in a summer program on secure computation at the University of Notre Dame.
