David Barkess

David Barkess has extensive experience in technology sales and strategic initiatives, beginning with Oracle from January 1990 to May 1998, where David held various roles, including Technology Sales Consultant and Senior Director of Applications for Asia Pacific. Following this, David returned to Oracle from June 1998 to May 2004, serving as Applications Sales Consultant and Director of CRM Applications for Australia/New Zealand. Currently, David is the Vice President of Global Strategic Initiatives at SAP, where responsibilities include developing strategies and structuring commercial models for key customers and partners within the Asia Pacific Japan region since January 2017. David also previously held the position of Director of Commercial Strategy for Asia Pacific Japan at SAP. David earned a BA in Business with a focus on Information Systems from Curtin University between 1987 and 1989.
