David Fakayode is a Development Consultant with extensive experience in promoting sustainable development practices across Africa. At Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, David facilitated workshops for government agencies in Ogun State and developed essential training tools and methodologies. As a co-founder of GFI Africa, a focus on indigenous brands and sustainable practices is emphasized. David has served as a Research Scholar at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and has worked with the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network – Youth as an SDG Coordinator to empower youth in localizing Sustainable Development Goals.
