Dr. Christopher Sessar

Dr. Christopher Sessar is currently the Chief Accounting Officer and Head of Global Accounting, Reporting and Tax at SAP, where they lead financial reporting under various international standards. With over 17 years of experience at SAP, they previously served as the Head of External Reporting and Chief Financial Officer for SAP Germany. Dr. Sessar holds a PhD, an Executive MBA, and a Master in Business Administration, and is an Honorary Professor at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, specializing in digitalization in finance. They have also been actively involved with the Deutsches Rechnungslegungs Standards Committee as a member of the Administrative Board since 2020.
