Eric Smit

Eric Smit is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in analytics and CFO solutions across multiple global regions. Currently serving as Vice President of Analytics for the Americas at SAP since February 2013, Eric leads the Global Center of Excellence organization, focusing on sales strategies that enhance pipeline and revenue growth. Previously, Eric held various roles within SAP, including global responsibilities for APJ/GC and analytics. Prior to SAP, Eric worked at Oracle as Global Director and Product Solutions Manager, and at Siebel Systems and Blue Martini Software as a Presales Consultant. Eric's career began at Hyperion Solutions, where positions included Senior Lead Consultant and Lead Consultant in both the Netherlands and Boston. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Economics and Management Information Systems from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, along with Bachelor's degrees in Management Information Systems from Northeastern University and Economics from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
