Hari Balakrishnan

Hari Balakrishnan is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as VP/SVP of Engineering at SAP since 2011, Balakrishnan oversees the mobile stack of SAP's Cloud platform, significantly contributing to the development of Mobile Services and a highly effective mobile SDK that improved productivity for Apple IT by 20%. Prior to SAP, Balakrishnan held director-level positions at Sybase Software, where achievements included launching the company's first mobile solution and establishing scalable cloud services, and earlier roles at AT&T/NCR and HCL America, focusing on software engineering and consulting. Balakrishnan holds a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, graduating in 1987.
