Jim Rotan

Jim Rotan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in application security and cloud architecture. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of ISBN Application Security at SAP since April 2024, Jim held several senior roles at SAP Ariba from February 2021 to April 2024, including Sr Director Application Security and Design, Chief Security Engineer, and Cloud Security Architect. Prior to this, Jim worked as a Cloud and Data Architect at Good Deeds and as a Solutions Architect at Capital One, where significant responsibilities included managing a team for Enterprise Identity and Access Management across numerous applications. Jim's earlier tenure at Symantec saw various leadership roles, including Service Platform Manager and Tech Lead for the Norton Site Reliability and Operations Engineering group, focusing on automation and CI/CD. Jim's career began with roles in database management and development at multiple organizations, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from the University of Maryland.
