Kai Richter

Kai Richter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in user interface design and human-computer interaction, currently serving as Chief Designer at SAP since August 2006. In this role, Kai has played a pivotal part in redefining SAP Fiori and enhancing the overall user experience, driving the organization towards a design-focused culture. Previous positions include Vice President of Global Design Concepts, User Interface Design Manager, User Interface Design Expert, and Senior User Interface Design Specialist at SAP, where responsibilities encompassed developing and implementing innovative design concepts and guidelines. Prior to SAP, Kai worked as a Researcher at the Computer Graphics Center and as a Junior Researcher at Fraunhofer IGD, contributing to important projects in ICT research. Academic credentials include a Dr.-Ing. in Computer Sciences from Technische Universität Darmstadt and a Dipl.-Psych. in Psychology from The Philipp University of Marburg.
