Marcel Smits

Marcel Smits is the Director of National Security Governance in the Netherlands, leveraging creativity, analytical skills, and strong people skills in their role. Previously, Marcel held various positions at SAP, including Director of National Security Data Sovereignty and Solution Expert for SAP Cloud Platform. Their experience spans roles such as Mobile Innovation Architect and Global UX Advisor, where they designed mobile applications and new industry platforms. Marcel earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Studies from Tilburg University.
