Matthias Ems has extensive experience in IT security and audit across various organizations, including SAP SE, IBM Germany, and Deutsche Bahn Systems. At SAP, Matthias has held multiple leadership roles, currently serving as Business Information Security Officer for SAP Cloud ERP. Previous positions include Global Director of IT Security Architecture Validation & Governance and Head of SAP S/4HANA Security and Data Protection and Privacy. Matthias has also served as IT Auditor at Debeka VVaG and worked as a Project Manager at Heyde AG and SerCon. With a strong background in security services and project management, Matthias has contributed significantly to cloud security architecture and technical validation management throughout a diverse career in the technology sector.
