Mike Buchwald

Mike Buchwald is a tech policy attorney with extensive experience in cybersecurity and technology issues. They served as a Career Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice National Security Division from 2016 to 2024 and held various roles including Counsel and Deputy Staff Director for Oversight and Policy at the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. Mike also co-taught a class on Cybersecurity Law and Policy as an Adjunct Professor at The George Washington University Law School. Currently, they are Counsel & Senior Director at SAP, while pursuing a JD at UVA Law and a B.A. from Yale University.
